Do we have what it takes to move the heart of
God? While great people with ordinary faith
can't do much, ordinary people with great faith
can move mountains.

A local church with a global vision
We are a group of Asian Indians who live in the
metro Detroit area. We originate from the beautiful state of
Kerala (God's Own Country!), India. We believe in the full gospel of God as it is written in the Bible, and we operate
under the power of the Holy Spirit. Though the majority of our members are of Indian
origin, we welcome people of all nationalities, colors, cultures, and
languages because Jesus died for us all, not for just a specific group of people. Join us as often
as you can.
About Us
We gather under the name
‘The Indian Christian
Church’ in Pontiac,
Michigan. The emphasis is on
‘Christian’
in our name. We call
ourselves Christians to
be
scripturally accurate.
The New
Testament refers to the
believers of Christ as
Christians in two
places - Acts.11:26
& 1
Pet. 4:16. We have
added ‘Indian’ in the
name to let others know
that we are Asians and we
believe in sharing our
blessings and hospitality.
We know that salvation, or redemption, of human souls is possible only through the sacrifice (death) of a man who has an eternal Spirit. Jesus Christ was that man appointed by God to die for the sins of the world according to John. 3:16andHeb.9:14. Jesus, who was buried, rose again because the Father God’s Spirit raised Him from the dead. Rom.8:11.
We believe that salvation is a free gift of God received through the saving faith of individuals- Rom.6:23 / Eph.2:8-9. We also believe we are called by God to a sanctified life, and to love our neighbors as ourselves- 1 Thes. 4:7. We are to be salt and light in this decadent world and are obligated by the Great Commission to make others disciples of Jesus Christ. Matt.28:18-19.

Share Your Life, Not
Just the Word.....Do
you share the gospel to people because you love
the people? Or, do you preach the gospel out of
obligation?
